Computer Literacy Lab

Program Overview

For children in 6th - 8th grade we teach them how to use Word, Excel and, over time, more advanced programs.

Students take computer literacy classes twice a week, and older students use the computer lab for school courses.

In order to build out this program, we commissioned tables, benches and cushions to be made in Addis Ababa. We will also be purchasing new computers, as well.

In our Computer Literacy Lab, we teach children in 4th and 5th grade to become familiar with basic computer skills and typing while building a basic understanding of word processing.
